Infuse A Froid

This work features the first full-figure appearance of Tommy’s “Smiling Man,” dramatically pouring an oversized glass bottle of cold brew coffee. Inspired by early 1900s French and Italian poster design, most notably the work of Leonetto Cappiello, the hand-drawn lettering translates from French to “cold brew.” The piece is a large-scale 5 × 7 ft acrylic painting on a hand-built canvas constructed from cedar wood slats.
